Analysis: Conservative Caucus President Jim Pfaff

On Worldview Tube on October 28, 2026, Conservative Caucus President Jim Pfaff said the midterms, 6 days out, open a post-Trump scramble. Thomas Massie, Tucker, Joe Kent, and Marjorie Taylor Greene are in a third-party mix, he said, and Marco Rubio and JD Vance may or may not run.

He then turned to Texas. Democrats want the state because of what it means for the White House, he said, and the James Talarico on the campaign trail is lying about the James Talarico in Ken Paxton’s ad.

Topics Covered

Six Days Out, a Third Party, and a Post-Trump Scramble

The host opened Washington Report by saying the midterms will not slow anything down. Right after them, announcements for the next presidential race start. He also said he would be criticizing his friend and former boss, Thomas Massie, over a third-party effort.

Pfaff put Massie with Tucker, Joe Kent, and Marjorie Taylor Greene. Mark Meredith had been discussing that effort and speaking of it positively, he said, without necessarily endorsing it. Pfaff said he does not know what effect it will have, but it will be in the mix.

Whatever happens next Tuesday, he said, the country moves into a post-Trump era of jockeying. Rubio and Vance are at least two possible candidates. He does not know which one runs, whether both do, or whether neither does. The third-party effort sits beside that.

Why Democrats Want Texas

The host said polls and prediction markets had Talarico leading Ken Paxton, and compared the hype to Beto O’Rourke against Ted Cruz. Pfaff called the Democratic push the same thing it has always been. They passionately want Texas.

He put Texas at probably 30 or 40 percent of Republican power nationally, and then at probably 30 percent. It is the second-largest electoral-vote state behind California. If Democrats won Texas’s electoral votes, he said, they would permanently win the White House under the current construct.

Paxton’s Ad, Cornyn, and the Barbecue Line

After the show played Paxton’s montage, Pfaff set aside a complaint he is already hearing about independent expenditures: that people are tired of ads. That complaint, he said, has been talked about for the last 30 or 40 years.

If the ad reaches red areas of Texas, he said, even voters with Trump derangement who want nothing to do with Ken Paxton should not sit the race out. Sitting it out means getting the James Talarico in the clip, not the one talking on the trail now.

he’s lying to you to your face, and then he’s going to do exactly what he wants to do

Pfaff said that is what other politicians do, and he included John Cornyn. Cornyn voted to impeach Donald Trump before he supported him, Pfaff said, and was against the Save America Act before he said he supported it, while doing nothing to make John Thune move the bill. Talarico, he said, is running the same pattern on a more leftist bent and is trying to contradict the clips.

Ken Paxton is on the opposite side of those issues. Pfaff told Texans, “you do not want James Talarico to be your senator, Texans. I can guarantee you that.” Talarico had been saying they are living off barbecue. “The barbecue goes away on November 4th if he gets elected,” Pfaff said. Then it is impossible meat and broccoli. He will govern the way the clips show.

Talarico, El-Sayed, and Saying Anything to Win

The show played a campaign-event exchange in which Talarico said his position had not changed and that sports decisions should be local. The host called the contradiction obvious. Pfaff was blunter. “And he’s a liar. He’s an absolute liar.”

He said Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan is a liar too. El-Sayed supports the Muslim Brotherhood, its ideals, and Sharia law, which Pfaff called incompatible with the US Constitution, and is now denying it. He said he would not take corporate money and takes it. Asked about the Brotherhood, Pfaff said, he gets mad, makes it about skin color and his Muslim religion, and calls it Islamophobic.

Pfaff said El-Sayed’s family has direct Muslim Brotherhood ties going all the way back, and that El-Sayed signed a letter in 2012 supporting the Brotherhood takeover or rearrangement in Egypt. People viewers like on Fox News often do not vote that way, he said. Campaigns chase the votes advisors say they need.

His example was Glenn Youngkin’s win in Virginia a few years ago. Campaign manager Jeff Roe, later described as with Axiom Strategies, badmouthed him in the Washington Post and credited a moderate lane. Pfaff said the bigger reasons were anger over transgender policy and over police at school-board meetings in Loudoun County and Fairfax County, which riled Northern Virginia Democrats and Republicans, plus an opponent who said parents do not get to educate their kids and teachers do.

Those two issues won it, he said, not simply that Youngkin was a good candidate. Candidates will say anything to get elected. New advisors in office then tell them to change.

Do Not Trust the Betting Markets

Pfaff said he does not see, thinking about it rationally, how Talarico wins. Anything is possible, he added, and Ken Paxton is not a very good candidate in some ways.

Betting markets had been at about the same percentage for Flávio Bolsonaro winning Brazil’s presidency on Sunday, he said, then flipped the other way when a result they did not predict came in. With a few days left, the markets and the outcome can both still change.

He called the Wisconsin Democratic election a case of fake polls and told listeners to be patient. “Don’t, don’t believe the betting markets.” He likes Polymarket as a service. Markets report what people predict, he said. More often than not that is right, and it is not right every time.

The Cuban Ejection and Lula’s Brazil

Back from the break, the show played Mike Waltz on the UN floor clash and on ejecting a Cuban diplomat. Pfaff called ejecting the Cuban ambassador the right move. The left will scream, he said, and it will be the same people praising what he called communist Lula da Silva’s fake election in Brazil on Sunday. When they get their way they seem calm. When they do not, they turn violent.

He did not limit that to the Cuban official. He named Bernie Sanders, AOC, Ilhan Omar, Hakeem Jeffries, and Chuck Schumer. They can attempt it in a free country, he said, but they are not legitimate in doing so. “They’re fake Democrats who are authoritarians.” Cuba’s system, he said, steals from impoverished people while the Castro family lives high and people beg for bread.

He grouped Sanders, AOC, Nancy Pelosi, Schumer, and Ro Khanna with that life, and said they are worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Khanna is happy Lula won, he said, while every stock market in Brazil tanked the next day because Lula will steal and take things. Seven minutes after Lula was announced the victor, ally Alexandre de Moraes signed an order taking Flávio Bolsonaro’s passport to stir criminal charges.

Lula is a convicted criminal, Pfaff said, who was in the middle of a 27-year sentence in the Lava Jato scandal. The same justice, whom he also called Morais, signed the order releasing Lula so he could run against Jair Bolsonaro, Flávio’s father, in 2022. Pfaff said they stole that election. The UN floor scene, he said, is the same pattern as AOC, Ro Khanna, and Bernie Sanders, which is why Americans have to work against them.

COP30 and the Next Grab for Power

The host then played Joe Rogan finding a BBC item about a road cut through the Amazon for a climate summit. Pfaff recast it in his own figure. “So they chopped down, what do you say, 50,000 acres of trees to protest climate change?”

Nothing a left politician proposes is for other people’s benefit, he said. It is for themselves or for the corporations and NGOs tied to their power. He granted that some on the right have that motive. The right’s philosophy, he said, still points toward limited government and letting people live, and they still screw it up sometimes.

Hardly any elected Democrats in Congress accomplished anything personally, he said. They were lifelong politicians, lifelong government workers, or lawyers. Some on the right fit that too, but many did something useful before running. He named Rick Scott and Ron Johnson as excellent members who accomplished a lot before politics.

COP30 in Brazil is not about climate. “They don’t even give a damn about climate. They are very interested in power.” Rush Limbaugh said early that the climate agenda was only socialism and communism, Pfaff said. That is no longer the big deal. The next big deal is whatever next wins them power.

Key Takeaways

  • Six days opens 2028: Pfaff said next Tuesday starts a post-Trump scramble, with Rubio and Vance as possible candidates and a third-party effort in the mix.
  • Texas is the prize: He put Texas at probably 30 percent of Republican power nationally and said a Democratic Texas electoral vote would lock in the White House under the current construct.
  • Talarico is lying: The trail talk contradicts the clips, he said, and barbecue gives way to impossible meat and broccoli on November 4th if Talarico wins.
  • El-Sayed and the campaign habit: He called El-Sayed a liar on the Muslim Brotherhood, Sharia, and corporate money, and said candidates say whatever advisors think will win.
  • Markets are not the result: Betting markets had a similar read on Flávio Bolsonaro and then flipped. Pfaff said do not believe them, including on Paxton.
  • Authoritarians and COP30: He called leading Democrats fake authoritarians after the UN clash and Lula’s win, and said the climate summit was about power.
