Pam Bondi Fired: 5 Lawfare Failures
and Blanche’s Fraud Crackdown
April 08, 2026 · The Conservative Caucus
From the start of President Trump’s term, conservatives watched Pam Bondi slow-roll and block key investigations. The Epstein files faced massive delays and heavy redactions—just 12,000 out of over 2 million pages initially released. The believed-to-exist “client list” never appeared, even though Bondi said she had it on her desk. Trump finally removed her, as supporters long demanded.
The 5 Lawfare Failures
Here are the most serious cases that went nowhere under Pam Bondi‘s DOJ.
AG Letitia James — New York
Led the false civil fraud case against Trump resulting in a massive judgment during his campaign. The case fell apart and attempts to revive it were rejected twice by Democrat grand juries. Bondi’s most glaring failure.
Special Counsel Jack Smith
Ran the false classified documents case and the January 6 investigation against Trump. Bondi didn’t deliver.
DA Alvin Bragg — Manhattan
Brought the ridiculous “hush money” case that led to Trump’s lawfare conviction on 34 felony counts. Another apparent failure.
FBI Director James Comey
Central figure in the Russia hoax investigation (Crossfire Hurricane). DOJ attempted criminal charges, but the indictment collapsed. No conviction.
Rep. Adam Schiff — House Intel Chair
Key promoter of the “Russia collusion” narrative and Trump’s impeachments—one of the major architects of lawfare. Little to no evidence led to charges.
Todd Blanche Takes Charge
The President selected Deputy AG Todd Blanche as Acting Attorney General after removing Pam Bondi. His first press conferences sent a clear message: the roadblocks are gone. Thousands of ongoing investigations, fraud-focused prosecutors being added at all 94 federal districts.
“Fraudsters, scammers, tax cheats should be on notice now. The department will investigate you, we will charge you with crimes, and we will ensure that you are punished for your actions.”
— TODD BLANCHE, Acting Attorney General
Blanche credited the leadership of President Trump and the White House Anti-Fraud Task Force chaired by the vice president, saying those efforts are “supercharging” DOJ’s fraud crackdown.
National Fraud Enforcement Division
Among Blanche’s first actions were to create the National Fraud Enforcement Division to investigate and prosecute those who steal or misuse taxpayer dollars, and the National Fraud Detention Center—a permanent, prosecutor-led multi-agency team to “ferret out the most harmful actors defrauding federal government programs.”
$500M+
In stolen funds recovered or targeted
94
Federal districts adding fraud prosecutors
President Trump’s DOGE initiative uncovered massive fraud in the federal government, and recently conservative investigative journalists uncovered billions received by fraudulent companies purporting to offer medical and educational services, including the infamous Minneapolis “Learning Center.” Those were found to have no apparent clients, yet the owners billed taxpayers millions and drove luxury cars.
The national fraud crisis is “ripping off our country every day,” costing taxpayers billions. Recent DOJ actions recovered or targeted “over half a billion dollars” in stolen funds, including healthcare and COVID-19 fraud cases.
— TODD BLANCHE, Acting Attorney General
Democrats’ Goal: Full Weaponization
Democrats boast that their goal is the full weaponization of our system of justice. We saw this under Biden’s Justice Department, which prosecuted conservatives for false crimes and ignored clear violations of the law by Democrat officials. It will be worse in the future. There is hope for a Republican president in 2028, but if there isn’t, disaster is coming. We must have someone aggressive replacing Pam Bondi.
What Comes Next
One of the worst things about Pam Bondi‘s approach to the job is that she did not immediately grab the situation by the horns and work to solve the problems. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche appears to be doing so, and this level of action will be required of the confirmed nominee, should it be someone other than Todd Blanche.
