On The Russ Clark Show, the line opened in Yuma, Arizona, with France, November 3rd, and a count of 54 riot organizations. Conservative Caucus President Jim Pfaff said the street violence is extremely well organized, and that it is not new.
He treated the funding as a decades-long effort to move opinion, then tied former USAID employees, color revolutions abroad, and the midterms to the same pattern.
Yuma, 54 Organizations, and a Funded Pattern
The show put the scale in front of him: France as a warning, November 3rd coming, and 54 organizations in the riots. Pfaff said that count is probably low. “I’ve heard numbers like over 100.”
He dated the effort to nearly a couple decades and said every organization funding it is committed to socialist and communist methods. He pointed to Neville Singham, a billionaire in Shanghai whose Communist Party ties, he said, let him send money that funded the cheerleader group at the LA riots near the end of 2025.
This is a well-funded effort to put violence on the streets as a way to move public opinion and to intimidate those who would oppose, because this is what socialist and communist efforts Do.
From Ferguson to Former USAID Staff
Pfaff tied the same funders to the George Floyd unrest and, earlier, the Ferguson riots in the Obama years. “This is a long chain of historical effort to eventually overturn the American Republic and change us from the constitutional republic we are now to something different.”
He sent listeners to @DataRepublican. “She has been documenting how this has gone to a place where former USAID employees have been coordinating for months now to figure out how to get Donald Trump to impose the Insurrection Act after elections.” He said they are coordinating with Democratic governors, and that the videos show former executive-branch and USAID people who ran color revolutions organizing to take control away from Trump after the election.
He called Data Republican one of the most effective researchers he has known, including investigators he knew on Capitol Hill. He also urged attention to Mike Howell and the Oversight Project. Pfaff said he joined Howell’s Mass Deportation Coalition because he thinks Trump has not gone far enough on deportation. He praised Jeff Clark, now heading that project’s legal effort after being targeted by the Biden administration.
Can a France-Style Collapse Happen Here
Asked whether what is hitting France can happen here, Pfaff refused a percentage. He said he is not claiming it absolutely will. If the question is whether it can, he said yes.
He argued the republic’s structure is a protection, and he pointed to 2024 and to what Trump is doing compared with the Biden administration. He still warned that the 1917 Russian Revolution under Vladimir Lenin probably had at most 5 to 10% support before the state toppled. He said 2024 shows Americans will not accept that outcome, and that Russia then still had a monarchy.
The attempt he named was General Milley calling his Chinese counterpart behind Trump’s back before the election, in November of 2020. Pfaff placed the call in early October of that year, or maybe late September. “He should be in prison right now, by the way.” He called it illegal under the UCMJ even after service, and listed the Russia hoax, Barack Obama, John Brennan, James Clapper, the FBI, and the CIA as cases where full justice never came.
USAID Cuts, Brazil, Chile, and Argentina
Pfaff said people are trying to run a color revolution here as effective as USAID officials ran in countries with weaker structures. He then took up a claimed link between USAID cuts and a conservative shift in Central and South America. He said the funding helped, and that it was not the only cause.
He said he is close to Brazil and was invited to Miami with Eduardo Bolsonaro, Flávio’s brother, but cannot go because Brazil’s final presidential election is on the 25th. He cited Jair Bolsonaro’s 2018 win and said he believes the 2022 election was stolen. He said the Trump administration is not meddling through the FBI and CIA the way he says the Biden FBI and CIA did in Brazil in 2022, and probably in Chile.
He called Chile a free-market recovery. The tale that Pinochet himself asked Milton Friedman down in the early ’70s is false even by Friedman’s account, he said. Pinochet’s economists sought that help. Pinochet was later removed, and a socialist was elected about 8 years ago after Chile had been South America’s most prosperous country per capita. Pfaff blamed color-revolution tactics and USAID workers who, he said, shifted from Cold War democracy protection toward corporatist, socialist, or internationalist governments.
Argentina, he said, is improving through public anger and Javier Milei, not USAID alone. He listed decades of massive inflation, spending, weak individual rights, and regulation, and called Milei a brilliant libertarian economist who promised to cut spending and did it. Milei had a mostly helpful legislature and more central-government flexibility than Trump. Pfaff called Trump the most libertarian-minded president in 2 or 3 generations, since Calvin Coolidge, and said Trump is not a fascist dictator.
Inflation in Argentina is still sizable, he said, but no longer in the 3-figure percentage range. He first said poverty dramatically increased, then accepted the correction: it decreased. He put the old level in the 30-40% range and said he thinks it is in the 12% range now, if he remembers the last numbers. Spending is way down, and Argentina used the US dollar to steady the peso. He said Trump has strengthened the US economy despite higher gas prices during the Iran war, but not as far as Pfaff thinks he could.
Early Voting in Ohio, Arizona, and Georgia
Asked what Trump can do in the next 2 weeks about gas and Iran, Pfaff said probably nothing on those. What Trump can do is what he is doing: travel that motivates the base. Early-voting numbers he had just seen in Arizona and Ohio were incredibly positive for Republicans, and Ohio had just opened early voting.
He and a friend had worried that energy in Cleveland could swing Ohio. Then yesterday’s early-vote numbers had Republicans 2 to 3 percentage points above Democrats. “sadly, one of the mistakes I think Donald Trump made was telling everyone, don’t do the early voting, just show up on Election Day.” In Georgia, he said, that helped produce two Democrat senators. Republicans are early-voting now, he said, and doing both that and Election Day voting could make Andy Biggs governor of Arizona.
Alyssa Slotkin, a Warrant, and Ilhan Omar
On Alyssa Slotkin’s warning that young people who work for Trump will be blackballed, Pfaff said she was a CIA desk jockey for most of her career and that what she said violates federal law. “18 USC Section 241 Says that it is a violation of civil penalties and up to 10 years in prison to abrogate someone’s rights under the Constitution.” He faulted the DOJ because many federal employees violated it in the Biden years and he could not say that very many have been indicted. Saying it is one thing, he said. Using her position, or encouraging a federal employee to do it, would be a criminal act.
He said he does not know where Ilhan Omar is, and that he would be hiding too. A Democrat-appointed Washington, D.C. judge issued the search warrant. Using it on a member of Congress is a big step, and doing it inside the 60-day window before an election is bigger. Legal experts he follows think the evidence must be very significant. He said she may end up in another country.
His understanding from those experts is that the direction of the case is that she is not validly a citizen, which would force her to give up the seat and be deported. He said he is not sure the issue is her age, and that records are poor. The father apparently was naturalized, but the records cannot be found, and the warrant results are not all public. Experts he relayed flag age, the father’s naturalization, other issues, and possible criminality in how she received money. One congressional disclosure put her net worth between $20 and $50 million, and the next at about $100,000. He said that may be the main issue.
Impeachment, the War Powers Act, and 2028
A Democratic House, he said, means big obstruction for the remaining 4 months. His guess is that the first bill, HR1, in a Congress that renews every 2 years, will be impeachment. That is a prediction. He said they have drummed up 350 articles as politics.
He was publicly critical of his former boss, Thomas Massie, for filing impeachment articles on Pete Hegseth. He called it dumb and cowardly because Massie did not aim the articles at the commander-in-chief. He reads the War Powers Act of 1973 and later amendments as giving the president 60 days if he reports to Congress. He said Trump followed that, and that impeachment articles will come on that ground anyway.
He called the Iran effort the scariest impeachment path because some Americans question it, and he does not know that it would succeed. A former Biden official’s video threatened Elon Musk too. Slotkin’s warning, he said, fits a Democratic Congress going after people, and impeachments would mean many Capitol Hill hearings.
A Republican Senate makes conviction unlikely, but he can see John Thune holding a trial, unlike one Mitch McConnell refused to hear. He has no trust in Thune. On the ballroom, he said everyone in Washington already agrees it is needed and only wants to fight Trump for doing it.
I have serious doubts about the Republic surviving if we lose the Senate and the House.
If that happens and the country is not destroyed in the interim, he predicts a backlash in 2028, because a Democratic win would not mean voters love Democrats. He pointed people to theconservativecaucus.org and theconservativecaucus.com.
The DSA and the Fetterman Exception
After the host described Democrats embracing the DSA, Pfaff said its principles match what the Democratic Party has held for some time, only said out loud. He did not claim every Democrat already wanted to scrap the Senate and put the courts and the executive under the House. He called that arrangement a Politburo, and said no major Democrat is pushing back.
John Fetterman, he said, would not go along. Fetterman is not a conservative. He is the rare Democrat who still believes in the Constitution, an honest but ideologically wrong old-style goal, and the exception that proves the rule.
Key Takeaways
- 54 and over 100: Pfaff said the riot effort is extremely well organized, probably more than 54 groups, and he has heard numbers like over 100.
- Decades of funding: He called it a well-funded effort nearly a couple decades old, from Ferguson and George Floyd through Neville Singham and the LA riots near the end of 2025.
- USAID and the Insurrection Act: He said Data Republican has documented former USAID employees coordinating for months to get Trump to impose the Insurrection Act after the elections.
- South America: He said USAID funding helped a conservative shift but was not the only cause, citing Brazil, Chile, and Javier Milei’s Argentina, where he corrected himself to say poverty decreased.
- Early voting: Ohio early voting was 2 to 3 percentage points ahead for Republicans, and he called Trump’s Election Day-only advice a mistake that hurt in Georgia.
- House and Republic: He guesses a Democratic House opens with impeachment as HR1, and he has serious doubts the Republic survives losing both the House and the Senate.
